If You Asked Me To....

If tomorrow you asked me to run...
I would say "How Far?"
If you asked me to jump..
I would ask "How High?"
If next week you said...Forget...
I would respond "Already Done."
If you asked me to love you forever...
I would say " I Always Have!"







But tomorrow, or Today, or next week...
can't change the fact that you don't really want to.
you just pretend you do.
And I am the one who keeps getting hurt
I don't know how much longer I can keep doing this
to myself.
